Principal / Lecturer in Theology

Tim is an ordained minister with experience in church planting and pastoral leadership. He has also served with several para-church organisations. Tim teaches theology and practical ministry and his research areas are the English Reformation and eschatology.

Academic Dean / Head of New Testament

Mark is a registered minister, graduate of Bible College SA and its first MTh graduate. He lectures in New Testament and is researching the relationship of love and truth in the Johannine corpus.

Dr Chris Fresch

Biblical Languages and Linguistics

Chris holds a PhD in Divinity from the University of Cambridge, where he also was an Affiliated Lecturer in Greek and a Tutor in Hebrew. He teaches biblical languages and Old Testament, and his main areas of research are Linguistics and Septuagint. He also holds a Master of Arts in Biblical Languages and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Christianity (double major) from Houston Baptist University. Chris has served in the church as a Music Pastor and youth leader. Currently, he co-leads one of the bands at Citylight Glenelg.

Dr Luke Wisley

Lecturer in Old Testament

Luke is Lecturer in Old Testament Studies at BCSA. He received a B.S. in Physical Education from College of the Ozarks; a M.A. in Christian Studies from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, a M.Th. in Biblical Studies from New College, University of Edinburgh; and his Ph.D. from Hughes Hall, University of Cambridge. Luke teaches subjects related to the Old Testament and especially enjoys the opportunity to work with students on how the Old Testament contributes to Christian theology and discipleship. His research interests are in the Wisdom Literature and Historical Books.

Lecturer in Practical Ministry / Dean of Students

David is an ordained minister with many years of practical experience in several small and large church ministries. He lectures in practical ministry and oversees all the fieldwork that students engage in as part of their ministry skills development.

Glenn Clarke

Lecturer in the History of Christianity

Glenn has practical experience in chaplaincy and in teaching in various roles including New Testament and Church History. His studies have been focused on John Calvin’s theology and the Reformation in Switzerland. His research has centred on the relationship between the Reformation in Geneva and the Scottish Reformation. Glenn is passionate in teaching about the Continental Reformation and how it has shaped the church of today. He also has a qualification and interest in teaching English as a Second Language to Adults.

Suzie holds a Master of Divinity, a Master of Teaching, a Bachelor of Arts (Hons 1), a Diplôme d’Etudes Universitaires Françaises, and is currently undertaking doctoral studies in Luke-Acts. She has served as a Senior Staff Worker with the Australian Fellowship of Evangelical Students and has also held several posts as a French teacher.

Dr Cameron Munro

Leadership

Born and raised in Sydney, Cameron became a Christian at age 13. He is an Ordained Anglican Pastor and pastored churches in Sydney, Wollongong and Adelaide. He is currently pastoring Trinity Church Brighton.

Dr Jason Maston

Jason Maston is Assistant Professor of Theology at Houston Baptist University where he teaches courses in the New Testament and Theology. Jason earned his PhD from Durham University where he studied under Francis Watson and he has formerly taught in Scotland at Highland Theological College. His research focuses on the New Testament with particular interests in the Second Temple Jewish context, the relationship of Judaism and Christianity, Christology and anthropology.

Dr David Reimer

Dr David Reimer is the Academic Dean of Faith Mission Bible College in Edinburgh, and Honorary Senior Lecturer in the School of Divinity, University of St Andrews. He teaches and writes about Biblical Studies, specialising in Hebrew Bible/Old Testament, with an interest in Missions.

Rev Dr Michael P Jensen

Rev Dr Michael P Jensen is the rector of St Mark’s Anglican Church Darling Point in Sydney. He is the author of Martyrdom and Identity: the Self on Trial and The Theological Anthropology of the Great Literary Genres. He lectured in doctrine and church history at Moore College from 2003-2013. His research interests include theological anthropology, public theology, and the history and practice of Anglicanism.
