At BCSA we're committed to training people for effective ministry, but we don't do this alone. We are committed to partnering with other Christian organisations to ensure that our programs are meeting the real ministry training needs of Adelaide, South Australia and beyond.
As an interdenominational training institution, Bible College SA is well placed to maintain good working relationships with many groups and organisations across denominations and is able to both train their ministers and pastors, as well as offer in-service training for those already serving.
For many years, Bible College SA has prepared men and women to work with overseas missions. We have connections with many mission agencies, but a particularly close relationship with the follwing four.
Many of our partner organisations come onto our campus to showcase their ministries to our students and discuss potential mission opportunities and pathways.
Bible College SA is a founding partner of the CV (Christian Vocation) Conference. The goal of CV is to provide a forum for men and women to consider how they might best serve God with their lives - either as active members of their church congregations, or in some form of vocational ministry. It's a great time for hearing a challenge from God's word as well as for personal reflection and some coaching from seasoned ministry leaders.
The Conference is usually held at Victor Harbor over the October long weekend. For more details visit the CV website.
The BCSA Ministry Formation Program runs in parallel with our academic courses. It includes a spiritual formation retreat, regular faculty-led discussion groups, a program of topical seminars, corporate worship and prayer. The whole program is designed to grow students in personal and spiritual maturity, to expose them to a breadth of ministry issues and to equip them with a variety of practical skills.
